The United Kingdom boasts a rich architectural heritage and proposed works that may affect listed buildings or their settings or are within Conservation Areas may require planning permission or Listed Building Consent, or both.
Butterwell Farm, Pitney
The redevelopment of Butterwell Farm included replacement of some non-original parts of the farmhouse and conversion of stone barns adjacent to the house which are listed by association.
The scheme also included the stopping up of the vehicular access through the ford to the rear of the farmhouse in order to better preserve it for the future.
